Buchanan County Fair Independence, IA

The mission of the Buchanan County Fair Association is to provide opportunities for our 4-H'ers, FFA members and the youth of Buchanan County to show their accomplishments and talents in a safe family setting. Our fair provides fun and educational activities, agricultural endeavors and entertainment to the citizens of Buchanan County and guests from the surrounding areas.

Building a Fair Future is a capital campaign put on by the Buchanan County Fair Association. This project exists to raise funds to construct a new 4-H Building and Events Center on the Buchanan County Fairgrounds, located in Independence, Iowa. The total cost of the project is $1.5 million, and funds from generous Buchanan County supporters are essential to campaign success.
